FarmTrack is designed so that only you can see your own farm data. Every record you create — animals, sales, financials, treatments, and compliance documents — is secured to your account and invisible to other users. We do not collect contact details about your customers or suppliers as a matter of course; anything you choose to record about them is entered by you and stays in your account.
Information We Hold
Account info: Your name and email address, held by the Base44 platform to create and manage your login. We also store your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
Farm records you enter: Livestock data, breeding and birth records, health treatments, sales, financial records, paddock activity, machinery, and feed/forage inventory.
Customer & supplier names: You can save names (and any contact notes you choose to add) for your own record-keeping. These are optional and only what you type in is stored.
Documents you upload: Receipts, invoices, and compliance paperwork you attach to your records.
Messages to the farm owner: If you use the in-app message feature, your name, email, and message content are stored so the owner can read and reply.
How Your Data Is Protected
Data isolation: All farm records are scoped to your account via Row Level Security. No other FarmTrack user can access, view, or modify your data.
Authentication: Passwords are cryptographically hashed — never stored in plain text. Password resets use hashed, time-limited tokens.
Encryption at rest: The database encrypts stored data at the infrastructure level.
Payment Information
We do not store your card number, CVV, or any direct payment details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. We only retain a Stripe customer reference to manage your subscription.
How Your Data Is Used
To provide farm management features — recording and displaying your livestock, financial, and compliance data.
To process subscription payments and manage your plan.
To generate reports and analytics from data you enter.
To deliver messages you send through the in-app message feature to the farm owner.
We do not sell, share, or trade your personal data or farm data with third parties.
Your Rights & Data Deletion
You can permanently delete all your farm data at any time from the More page → Delete Account. This removes every animal, record, sale, treatment, and document associated with your account and cancels any active subscription.
To fully remove your login credentials (the platform User record), please contact Base44 support after deleting your farm data.
